In today’s society it is imperative to be prepared to handle an active shooter event. Whether the attacker is in the same room or down the hall you need to know how to survive and get home safely.
This Seminar is design for to teach individuals how to address the threat of an active shooter by awareness, preparation, prevention, and response methods. The training is great for someone with not #ActiveShooterTraining experience or someone who want the practice.
This Training is conducted by Israel Tamir; Expert Lvl 5, Global Instructor Trainer and IKMF Head of Security and Law Enforcement.
The United State Department of Homeland Security defines the PROFILE OF AN ACTIVE SHOOTER as:
An Active Shooter is an individual actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a confined and populated area; in most cases, active shooters use firearms(s) and there is no
pattern or method to their selection of victims.
Active shooter situations are unpredictable and evolve quickly. Typically, the immediate deployment of law enforcement is required to stop the shooting and mitigate harm to victims.
Because active shooter situations are often over within 10 to 15 minutes, before law enforcement arrives on the scene, individuals must be prepared both mentally and physically
to deal with an active shooter situation.
